Which glass do you use for limoncello?
A small bowl of 6 to 10 cl, preferably on a stem so your hand does not warm the liqueur. You pour 3 to 4 cl into it, which leaves the glass half full and keeps the citrus aroma hanging above the liquid.
Can limoncello glasses go in the freezer?
Yes, that is in fact the idea. Soda-lime glass and tempered glass cope with it without any problem. Chill them for at least two hours and never rinse them with warm water straight after use, because that shock cracks thin glass.
How much limoncello do you pour?
Three to four centilitres is the usual serving after a meal. More does not work, because the liqueur warms up quickly in the glass and then tastes sweeter and sharper than intended.
Which glass do you use for a limoncello spritz?
For that you take a roomy bowl of at least 40 cl, the same shape as for an Aperol Spritz. It holds prosecco, sparkling water and a good amount of ice, and that does not fit in a small digestif glass.
