The difference lies in height and use. The 29 centilitre is the smallest and works best as a water glass on a laid table, where it does not tower above the cutlery. The 37 centilitre is the all-rounder for soft drinks, beer or anything served with plenty of ice. The 41 centilitre is noticeably taller and made for long drinks, with room to stack ice without having to top up halfway. Because the base is equally heavy on all three, they stand just as steadily on a crowded table. Compare them with the other whisky glasses if you like.

Thick glass with a heavy base warms up slowly, which helps with anything served on ice. Fill the glass about halfway with ice before you pour and the drink stays cold without diluting quickly. The 41 centilitre suits a Dark 'n Stormy, because you float the rum on top of the ginger beer last and that effect stays visible in a tall glass. The 37 centilitre takes a Negroni on one large block of ice.

Vidivi presses this glass in a mould, which gives it an even and fairly thick wall over the full height. That makes the series less vulnerable to knocks than thin-walled crystal and perfectly happy in the dishwasher. The vertical grooves do trap soap residue, so load the glasses with the opening angled downwards. A glass brush helps with stubborn deposits on the base.
