Which Rayo glass do you use for a gin tonic?
The 36 cl long drink glass. It is tall enough for a good layer of ice plus tonic, so the drink stays cold without topping up and the carbonation stays in the glass for longer.
Are the Rayo glasses stackable?
The models are not designed as stacking glasses. Do not push them into each other to save space, because glasses that have sucked tight often break when you pull them apart. Set them side by side on the shelf or in the cupboard.
Why do these glasses have a faceted base?
The facets catch the light and give the glass depth, certainly with a clear drink in it. The practical drawback is that limescale settles there more readily, so with hard water it is worth rinsing and drying.
What is the difference between a tumbler and a long drink glass?
A tumbler is low and wide and meant for water, juice or spirits with ice. A long drink glass is taller and narrower and has room for mixed drinks that combine a lot of soft drink and ice.
