Which Lineal size suits red wine?
For red wine, go for the 31 cl. That bowl leaves enough air above the wine to swirl without the glass getting too full. The smaller sizes are better suited to white wine that needs to stay cool.
How much wine should you pour into this glass?
Pour up to the widest point of the bowl and no higher. On the 25 cl that works out at roughly twelve centilitres. You need the space above it to swirl the wine and hold on to the aroma.
Is the Arcoroc Lineal dishwasher safe?
Yes. The glass is tempered and built for daily use in hospitality. Place the glasses separately in the rack with the stem clear, and choose a programme that stays below sixty degrees to avoid stress in the glass.
Where does a stemmed wine glass usually break?
At the join between stem and bowl. That is where most of the force ends up when you lift the glass by the bowl or pull it out of a full rack. So always take hold of the glass by the stem or the foot.
