Malibu Piña Colada
The cocktail Malibu was originally created for, now in a can. Malibu with coconut and pineapple, at 5% and without a blender. Open cold, pour over ice and you're ready. If you want the real, creamy version, the recipe is below.

A Piña Colada without a blender
Malibu Piña Colada is ready to drink: a ready-made cocktail in a 25 cl can, made with Malibu, coconut and pineapple flavor. The alcohol is already diluted to 5%, about the same as a regular beer. You don't need to measure or mix anything.
That makes it ideal for the beach, a festival or the picnic basket. It is a different drink from the cocktail served at a bar: lighter, fizzier and less creamy, because it contains no coconut cream or blended ice. If you want the full, creamy version, make your own Piña Colada with Malibu Coconut, pineapple juice and coconut cream.
In brief
Coconut and pineapple, light and cold
Pineapple and coconut
Sweet pineapple and coconut, instantly recognizable as Piña Colada.
Light and sweet
Sweet and fruity, lighter than the blended cocktail. You can barely taste the alcohol.
Short and tropical
A short, sweet finish with coconut. The colder, the fresher.
Flavor profile of Malibu Piña Colada from the can, poured ice-cold over ice.
From the can, or homemade
Drink the can as it is. The only things you can improve are the temperature and the glass; and if you have time, blend the real thing.
Over ice in a highball glass
Chill the can in the refrigerator for a few hours and pour it over plenty of ice in a highball glass, with a pineapple wedge on the rim. This keeps it cold until the last sip.
Highball glasses →Homemade: the real Piña Colada
