Havana Club 15 Años
Havana Club's flagship bottle. Aged for fifteen years in white oak barrels and made in limited quantities, with a deep, woody flavor full of dried fruit, vanilla and caramel. A rum for a quiet moment and a good glass.

Fifteen years of patience
Havana Club 15 Años is the oldest rum in the range. It ages for fifteen years in white oak barrels, in the traditional Cuban way and according to the recipe of the maestros roneros. It is produced in limited quantities.
The main difference from the 7 Años is the length of aging and the texture. While the 7 Años still shows tobacco and cocoa, the 15 Años is deeper and woodier, full of dried fruit, with vanilla, caramel and tannins from prolonged contact with wood. It is 40% ABV and a bottle to give as a gift or save for a special evening.
In brief
Deep, woody and full of dried fruit
Dried fruit
Dried fruit, vanilla and caramel, with the dry, woody notes of fifteen years of oak behind them.
Smooth
A complex, smooth texture that fills the mouth. Dried fruit and caramel, balanced by the wood.
Tannins
A long finish with tannins from the oak, dry and warm. This is where you taste the age.
Flavor profile of Havana Club 15 Años neat, at room temperature. Ice mutes the aromas, so it's best left out with this rum.
How to get the most out of a 15-year-old rum
With the 15 Años, it's all about tasting. No cola, no shaker, just a good glass and time.
Straight in a tasting glass
3 cl at room temperature in a tulip-shaped glass. Let it stand for five minutes, swirl gently and smell it before tasting. That is when the vanilla and caramel are truly released.
Tasting glasses →In a cognac glass
A large cognac glass gently warms the rum in your hand. This makes it even silkier and slightly softens the tannins.
Cognac glasses →Alongside the 7 Años
Pour 2 cl of the 7 Años and 2 cl of the 15 Años side by side into two identical glasses. This lets you taste exactly what eight extra years of aging do.
Havana Club 7 Años →Mixing with the 15 Años? Only this way
It would be a shame to mix the 15 Años with juice. If you still want a cocktail, choose a stirred classic with few ingredients. For anything else, reach for a younger sibling.

Old Fashioned
Rum, a little sugar, and bitters. The only cocktail in which the 15 Años fully holds its own.
Sazerac
A stirred classic with bitters and an absinthe rinse. Smooth and mellow with rum.
Mojito
Rum, lime, mint, and sparkling water. Make it with the light 3 Años, not the 15.
Daiquiri
Rum, lime, and sugar. Make it with the 3 Años or, for more depth, the Selección.More Havana Club flavors
