Cointreau Spicy
Orange with a kick. Cointreau Spicy combines fresh orange liqueur with the warmth of natural jalapeño and chili. Made for one thing: a spicy Margarita without the hassle of fresh peppers.

The Margarita, with a kick
According to the brand, Cointreau Spicy is the first orange liqueur with a natural chili kick. The base is the same as regular Cointreau: alcohol, sugar and orange peels. Natural notes of jalapeño and chili are added, creating a warm, spicy finish.
The idea is simple. For a Spicy Margarita, you would normally muddle fresh jalapeño in the shaker or make a chili syrup. With Cointreau Spicy, the heat is already in the bottle, precisely dosed. At 30% ABV, it is lighter than regular Cointreau and Cointreau Noir, both of which are 40% ABV.
In brief
Fresh first, then warm
Orange peel
The familiar fresh orange aroma of Cointreau, with a green note of jalapeño.
Sweet and spicy
Sweet orange up front, followed by the slow build of chili heat.
A warm glow
The chili continues to tingle for a while after swallowing. Spicy, but not burning.
Tasting profile of Cointreau Spicy neat and chilled. In a Margarita, the heat is balanced by the lime juice.
