Stölzle Lausitz Exquisit Wine Glass 48 Cl - 6 Pieces
This Exquisit bowl holds 48 centiliters, stands 21.5 centimeters high, and has a foot diameter of 8.9 centimeters. It is the medium size in the series and therefore the most practical choice if you want to have just one type of wine glass at home. Light to medium-bodied red wines show well in it, while a full-bodied white wine such as an oaked chardonnay also gets enough room. You can comfortably pour a normal serving without the glass looking full.
Room for swirling
The extra bowl diameter compared with the smaller sizes does more than you might expect. Swirling increases the contact surface between the wine and the air, allowing closed aromas to emerge more quickly. For red wines served without decanting, that can make the difference between a flat and an open nose. Stölzle Lausitz
Stölzle Lausitz zit sinds 1889 in de Lausitz, het glasgebied op de grens van Saksen en Brandenburg in het oosten van Duitsland. Het huis maakt loodvrij kristalglas en is bekend om zijn stelen: die worden niet apart aangezet maar in één stuk uit de kelk getrokken. Daardoor is er geen naad te zien of te voelen en zit het glas rustig in de hand.
