Trojka
The brightly coloured vodka liqueur you drink ice-cold as a shot or with Sprite in a highball glass. Everything about the flavours, alcohol percentage, mixers and the right glass to use.

Swiss vodka in a colourful jacket
Trojka is a vodka liqueur from Diwisa, a family-owned distillery in Willisau, Switzerland. It is made with Swiss vodka, fruit, sugar and colouring, resulting in a sweet liqueur at 17%. Each colour represents a flavour: Pink with red berries and cranberry, Orange with orange, and Sun with yuzu, peach and a hint of rosemary. There are also Red, Green, Blue and Black, among others, but in the Netherlands, Pink, Orange and Sun are the easiest to find.
Trojka is particularly popular in the Dutch student and party scene. Trojka Pink with Sprite is a staple long drink in many bars, and the bottles are served ice-cold as shots. At 17%, it is considerably milder than pure vodka, making it easy to drink neat. The large 4.5-litre bottle with dispensing pump is the party version.
In brief
What types of Trojka are there?

Trojka Pink
The best-known in the Netherlands: sweet red berries, cranberry and a hint of aloe vera. Pink in colour and sweet in taste.

Trojka Orange
Orange in a bright orange bottle. Fresh and sweet, like an orange popsicle with a fizz.

Trojka Sun
Yuzu, peach and a hint of rosemary. The lightest and most sophisticated of the three; delicious as an aperitif or in a spritz.

Trojka Pink 4.5 litres
The giant bottle for the student association or party, with dispensing pump. Good for over two hundred shots.
Pink is the classic choice with Sprite; Sun is the fresh choice for a spritz.
Sweet, fruity and easy to drink
Red fruit & candy
Sweet strawberry, raspberry and cranberry, like a bag of red candy. You can barely smell the vodka.
Sweet and smooth
Thin and sweet, with a slight freshness from cranberry. The 17% alcohol gives a little tingle, nothing more.
Short and fruity
A short, sweet finish that calls for ice, Sprite or another shot.
Tasting profile of ice-cold Trojka Pink. Orange is fresher and more citrusy, Sun drier and lighter.
Three ways to drink Trojka
Trojka is best served ice-cold. Put the bottle in the freezer or refrigerator and use plenty of ice in the mix.
Ice-cold as a shot
2 to 4 cl straight from the freezer in a shot glass. Sweet, fruity and mild; at 17%, the bottle does not freeze and the shot goes down easily.
