Johnnie Walker Green Label
The only Johnnie Walker without grain whisky: single malts only, at least fifteen years old, from every corner of Scotland. Cut grass, pepper and sandalwood, at a slightly higher strength. The bottle for malt lovers.

Four regions, malt only
Green Label is made differently from the rest of the family. While Red, Black and Blue Label combine malt and grain whisky, Green Label consists entirely of single malts: a blended malt. These malts come from Speyside, the Highlands, the Lowlands and the islands, with Talisker and Cragganmore among those in the blend, and they have all been aged for at least fifteen years.
Without the smooth grain whisky, you taste more of the individual malts: fresh grass and fruit from Speyside, pepper and smoke from the islands. At 43%, it is also slightly higher in strength than the other labels, making it fuller and leaving room for a drop of water. Green Label was awarded double gold at the World Spirits Competition in 2006 and 2007, among other accolades.
In brief
Fresh grass, pepper and a woody core
Cut grass and fruit
Intense aromas of cut grass and fresh fruit, with a woody smoke that stays in the background.
Pepper and vanilla
Pepper up front, followed by rich vanilla and sandalwood. Fuller than Black Label, and you can clearly taste that it contains no grain whisky.
Powerful and smooth
A powerful yet smooth finish, in which the wood and a hint of smoke gently fade away.
Green Label's flavor profile neat. A few drops of water bring out the fruit and grass more strongly.
Tasting Green Label like a malt lover
Treat Green Label like a single malt: neat, at room temperature, and with attention to what each region brings to the glass.
Neat, with a drop of water
30 ml in a tulip glass, taste it neat first and then add a few drops of cool water. At 43%, Green Label has enough strength to handle the water well.
Tasting glasses →Alongside a single malt
Pour 20 ml of Green Label alongside 20 ml of a single malt such as Talisker and taste them alternately. This way, discover which pepper and smoke come from the islands.
About Talisker →Malt highball
40 ml Green Label with 120 ml very cold soda water in a tall glass full of ice and a strip of lemon peel. The grassy and fruity notes become light and fresh.
Highball recipe →Cocktails with Green Label
Mix Green Label only in cocktails where the whisky takes center stage. A few classics in which the malts hold their own.

Rob Roy
The Manhattan with Scotch: whisky, sweet vermouth and bitters, stirred and served in a coupe. Green Label's pepper keeps the vermouth in check.
Penicillin
Scotch, lemon and honey-ginger syrup. With a malt as its base, it becomes fuller and spicier.
Old Fashioned
Whisky, a little sugar and bitters over a large ice cube. It beautifully brings out the sandalwood notes of Green Label.
