De Kuyper Amaretto
A Schiedam amaretto with almond in the starring role, supported by vanilla, lime oil, caramel, and a hint of cognac. At 30% ABV, a digestif on its own and the basis for a robust Amaretto Sour.

Amaretto from Schiedam, with a hint of cognac
De Kuyper Amaretto is a liqueur based on almond, vanilla, lime oil, and caramel, supported by a hint of cognac. Almond takes center stage; the vanilla and caramel make it rounded, while the lime oil keeps it fresh. The cognac provides a warm foundation that is most noticeable in the finish.
At 30% ABV, it is stronger than many Italian amarettos; Disaronno, for example, is 28%. You notice it in cocktails: an Amaretto Sour with De Kuyper is less sweet and slightly more powerful. De Kuyper itself calls it a delicious digestif on its own, so it is also good to drink neat after a meal.
In brief
Marzipan with a warm core
Almond and vanilla
Sweet almond and marzipan up front, with vanilla and a hint of citrus from the lime oil.
Caramel and nuts
Full and sweet, with caramel and toasted almond. The 30% ABV gives it more body than you would expect from a liqueur.
Warm from cognac
A warm, lightly woody finish in which the cognac briefly comes through. Medium-long and smooth.
Flavor profile of De Kuyper Amaretto neat at room temperature. Over ice, it is fresher and less sweet.
From digestif to Sour
You can drink amaretto neat, but lemon, whisky, and coffee bring out the most in it.
