Passoã Orange
The Dutch classic, but without the bottle and carton of juice: Passoã with orange juice, already mixed in a 25 cl can. Sweet, sour and slightly bitter, with the full aroma of passion fruit. Over ice and ready.

Passoã and orange juice, ready to open
Passoã with orange juice has been the way to drink Passoã in the Netherlands for decades. Passoã Orange puts that mix in a can: Passoã passion fruit liqueur with orange juice, which makes up 42% of the contents. Passoã itself is a French brand, made from Brazilian passion fruit and now largely owned by Lucas Bols.
At 5% alcohol, Passoã Orange is about as strong as a Passoã and orange juice that you mix yourself using one part liqueur to three parts juice. The difference is convenience: no bottle, no carton, no measuring glass. Ideal for a festival, camping or a picnic, where you would rather not have to mix anything.
In brief
Sweet, sour and slightly bitter
Intense passion fruit
An intense aroma of passion fruit, with the freshness of orange behind it.
Juicy and full-bodied
Sweet, sour and bitter at the same time: the passion fruit provides the sweet-and-sour flavor, while the orange juice adds a slightly bitter, peel-like note. Fruity and full-bodied.
Fresh and fruity
A fresh, fruity finish that tastes of orange. The alcohol is barely noticeable.
Flavor profile of Passoã Orange, served ice-cold. Over plenty of ice, it becomes slightly lighter and fresher.
Three ways to serve Passoã Orange
Drink Passoã Orange straight from the can, just as it is. Add ice, a glass and, optionally, a slice of fruit to make more of it.
Over plenty of ice
Pour the entire 250 ml can over a highball glass full of ice, with half an orange slice. This keeps it cold until the last sip.
Highball glasses →Topped up with bubbles
Half a can, 125 ml, in a large wine glass with ice, topped up with 75 ml prosecco or sparkling water. Drier, lighter and more festive.
Wine glasses →Homemade: Passoã juice
Prefer it fresh? 50 ml Passoã with 150 ml freshly squeezed orange juice in a highball glass with ice. The same taste, but fresher and with more pulp.

You don't use the can itself for mixing. Make these orange juice cocktails with a bottle of Passoã or the usual spirit.
